5/7/2018 0 Comments tenAt this point in my mindfulness journey, I have very much incorporated mindful meditation into my life. I often find myself needing to breathe in and out to clear my mind. It honestly really helps. I had 3 AP exams this week, and minutes before every test, I had to take a deep breathe in and out to calm down, and be more confident about my ability to pass the test.

This year, 2017, I discovered the idea of mindfulness. I've been very stressed and overwhelmed by challenges, but I found out about mindfulness through reading a few books here and there, and I decided why not? Let's meditate! I've been interested in cognitive psychology and psychology in general, which lead me want to use mindfulness meditation because I working on my own brain. how can mindfulness become beneficial to individuals?"When did you last take any time to do nothing? how can mindfulness reduce stress?
Allowing yourself to be able to concentrate on being aware/ present will minimize any floating thoughts mindlessness vs mindfulness
Mindlessness is a state of being unconscious about what you are doing. Mindfulness is the conscious state of being, such as being aware of thoughts, feelings, and the outside environment. this image depicts mindlessness well --> So, the big question is, how do you achieve mindfulness?
